Almost ready
The portal needs a small database and a password before it can work. This takes about five minutes in Vercel, on your own computer or phone:
- Open the project in Vercel and go to Storage. Choose Upstash (Redis), create a free database and connect it to this project.
- Go to Settings → Environment Variables and add
TEACHER_PASSWORDwith a password only you know. - Go to Deployments and choose Redeploy on the latest one.

Lectures
🔒 Lock a lecture and nobody else can open its slides: its button disappears from the class site and its link stops working. 🔓 Unlock it whenever you're ready. Lock and unlock save straight away.
Slides link: paste a Canva link (Share → Public view link), or a class-site deck like andrade.html?view=slideshow. Leave it empty if there are no slides yet. Class-site decks show students the class version, without your teacher-only slides.
Presenting: press Present ↗, then 💻 Present from my laptop. On the class screen, open the class site's /screen page (or the lecture's Slides button) and type the code. The screen then shows your teacher-only slides too, but only while you're presenting, even if the lecture is locked.
